Zhar-Ptitsa Monitoring System

"Firebird" is an innovative system for detecting and monitoring natural fires that has no open analogues in the world. We are creating a comprehensive solution based on UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) that not only detects fires in their early stages, but also predicts the spread of fire using intelligent algorithms. The platform combines reconnaissance drones, a powerful backend written in Django, and a reactive interface written in React, transforming raw data from a bird's-eye view into accurate fire maps, fire development models, and ready-made reports for emergency services. This is a digital forest shield that works in real time.

1.

It's not enough to see a fire. It's important to understand where it will go next. The system doesn't just show the point of ignition; it simulates the spread of fire, taking into account wind, terrain, and vegetation type. This gives fire departments valuable time to meet the fire where it can be stopped.

2.

Integration with UAVs takes monitoring to a whole new level. Drones become the "eyes" of the system, capable of flying where humans can't reach and operating in heavily smoky environments. The Django backend instantly processes telemetry, while the React interface visualizes fires for dispatchers with maximum clarity.

3.

Early detection is not only about saving hectares of forest, but also about saving a lot of money on firefighting. It is thousands of times cheaper to put out a small fire than to fight a giant fire that has engulfed the taiga. The Firebird pays for itself with the first major fire it prevents.

4.

The entire system is packed in Docker containers. This means that the Firebird can be instantly deployed on the servers of regional dispatch services, scaled to any territory, and updated on the fly without stopping monitoring. The solution is ready for industrial operation here and now.
